Directions to Jorgensen Land & Cattle

We are located in South Central South Dakota, 75 miles south of Pierre South Dakota, or 50 miles north of the South Dakota/Nebraska state line. The home farm unit is located north of Winner, South Dakota.

From Winner: Turn north at McDonalds and travel north 9 miles to a dead-end. Turn left (west) at the three-way intersection, continue another 2 ½ miles to a curve veering north. Continue north another 3 miles to a 4-way stop. At stop sign, the pavement will end. On gravel, continue north 1 mile, and  ½  mile west. As you are turning west, you will notice a barn with "Jorgensen Farms" painted on roof.

From Sioux Falls: On I-90 west, travel west of Chamberlain to the Winner/Gregory exit (Exit 251). Drive south on State HWY 47 for 10 miles. At the HWY 47/49 intersection, turn right (southwest) on HWY 49 continue for another 14 miles to the Ideal turnoff. Turn right (west) on gravel and travel 11 miles. At the 4-way stop turn right (north), remaining on gravel roads. Drive 1 mile north and  ½  mile west. As you are turning west, you will notice a barn with "Jorgensen Farms" painted on roof.

From Rapid City: On I-90 east, travel to Presho exit 226. Turn south on HWY 183 for 25 miles to the Ideal turnoff. Turn left (east) on gravel and continue another 7 miles. You will drive on pavement near the village of Ideal, but continue east 1 more mile. At the 4-way stop, turn left (north) on gravel road. Drive 1 mile north and ½ mile west. As you are turning west, you will notice a barn with "Jorgensen Farms" painted on roof.
